The hotel is open

We are delighted that we are allowed to welcome more and more guests. Did you know that our hotel never closed? Hotel guests can enjoy breakfast and dinner in our restaurants again. From June 1, guests without hotel reservation can also use our terrace. In order to do so, we have adjusted our procedures and rooms in various ways, which allows you to have a safe and relaxing stay at our hotel.

PLEASE NOTE, VERY IMPORTANT!
Do you have any cold-like symptoms, including cold in the nose, runny nose, soar throat, mild cough or a temperature higher than 38 degrees Celsius/100.4 Fahrenheit? If yes, you are requested to stay home and not to come to the hotel.

It is important that you follow the instructions of the hotel staff members during your stay with us. Additionally, all guests and staff members at our hotel are requested to carefully follow the precautionary measures below:

Overnight stay

We look forward to welcoming you in person, showing you around and answering all the questions, you might have. On arrival you can disinfect your hands in the lobby. We will ensure hospitable check-in with 1,5 meters distance for you. All our staff members have been instructed how to proceed with regard to COVID-19.

Every day our professional cleaners will clean the rooms and the door handles, besides (stair) handrails, elevator buttons are cleaned several times a day. Our staff members are required to wash their hands every half hour.

If you haven’t made a reservation for the restaurant while booking your stay, we recommend doing so during check-in. Reservations for dinner are required.

Food & Drinks

Breakfast
Breakfast is served in a buffet form. Of course, it will be set up in such a way that everyone can use it safely. For example, it is mandatory to disinfect your hands before entering the buffet, extra hygiene measures are taken and it is possible to get gloves if desired. Breakfast is only available for hotel guests. To have the breakfast served as room service you will have to book a Suite (extra charges applies).

Dinner or lunch in het restaurant
Dinner and lunch for hotel and non hotel guests are again served in our restaurant (it depends on the available seats per day). Reservation for dinner is required. In order to ensure that everything runs smoothly and safely, we have drawn up a number of guidelines:

  • Keep 1,5 meters distance from our staff members and other guests (persons from the same household excluded);
  • Always follow the instructions of the employees;
  • You will be requested (mandatory) to disinfect your hands;
  • Please, wait at the welcome desk. We will accompany you to your table.

Room service
Guests, who prefer to have dinner in the hotel room, can make use of a delicious room service menu. Then we will leave your ordered dinner outside your hotel room, surcharge applies. We serve an alternative menu for roomservice.

Hotel Bar and lobby
Our hotel Bar and lobby are open for a drink or quick bite to eat, we kindly ask you to make a reservation. We naturally follow the guidelines of RIVM

Terrace
Our terrace is open to both hotel and non-hotel guests when the weather permits.

Buffet en Live Cooking
We regret to inform you that our lunchbuffet, brunch and Live Cooking are not available.

Swimming pool and wellness

Our swimming pool and Wellness are open for guests who have booked an overnight stay at our hotel (based on availability). You can choose a time slot while checking in. In this way, you can be sure it will never be too crowded in our pool. It goes without saying that the hygiene regulations apply to the swimming pool as well.

Our fitness room is open for guests who have booked an overnight stay at our hotel (based on availability). Please contact the reception for the possibilities.

Frequently asked questions

Can we eat at the restaurant again?
Yes, you can! As a guest with an overnight stay booking you can enjoy delicious breakfast, we also serve lunch and dinner for non hotel guests at our restaurants (it depends on the available seats per day) in our hotel. You can make dinner reservations while booking your overnight stay or package at our hotel.

Can we eat at the restaurant if we are not sleeping at the hotel?

How do you serve breakfast?

What are the safety measures you have taken?
We have taken quite a few safety measures. Our rooms are given a thorough cleaning, on a daily basis. We clean all door handles several times a day. We wash our hands every half hour. Our restaurant has a new set-up, so that you have more space and there are fewer people, having breakfast, lunch or dinner at the same time. Part of this new set-up is a reservation system. On different locations in the hotel you will find disinfections columns that allow you to disinfect your hands, quickly and conveniently.

Can I book a room again?
Yes, you can! Did you know that our hotel has never been closed? You can book straight away and also make use of a number of fantastic packages.

How do you deal with the gathering measure?
To reduce the chance of infections as much as possible, it is forbidden to gather together with three or more people in a hotel room in Hotel Oostzaan. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a 1.5 meter distance between everyone. Persons in the same household, such as families, and children are excluded.

Can I come for lunch?
Only hotel guest can join us for lunch at this moment. However when the weather permits, you can join us on our outside terras for lunch. Please contact our front desk for more information. Unfortunately the lunchbuffet is not open yet.

Is Live Cooking and or Brunch open?
No, due to the authorities’ health regulations, we cannot offer any Live Cooking for the time being.

Is the swimming pool open?
Our swimming pool is open for guests who have booked an overnight stay at our hotel (based on availability). You can choose a time slot while checking in. In this way, you can be sure it will never be too crowded in our pool. It goes without saying that the hygiene regulations apply to the swimming pool as well.

Which amenities are available at the hotel?
Most of our amenities are open to hotel guests. Ask our reception about the possibilities.

Can I rent an (electric) bicycle at the hotel?
Yes, hotel guests can make reservations for an (electric) bike through our reception desk. Packed lunch can also be reserved through reception. Hotel Oostzaan has beautiful bicycle routes waiting for you.

Extra house rules during Corona period

Strict measures apply in our hotel and restaurants to ensure a safe and hospitable stay for you, our other guests and our employees. For this reason, we request that you observe the following rules:

1. The hotel has a strict hygiene and safety policy. This is also indicated in various places in the hotel and/or are pointed out by our employees. You must adhere to this policy and also follow instructions from employees in this area. In particular:

  • keep 1.5 meters away from other guests and staff at all times;
  • stay at home if you have a cold, such as a runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, mild cough, fever from 38 degrees Celsius or - if the complaints occur during your stay/visit - leave the hotel;
  • stay at home if a housemate has or has had colds and fever and/or shortness of breath, as a result of which you are also forced to remain in quarantine according to government measures;
  • follow the outes (when indicated) as indicated in the hotel;
  • Follow the other measures as indicated in the hotel.


2. If a guest does not comply with (one of) the measures or instructions from the staff with regard to hygiene, safety and routing, the hotel is entitled to order you to leave the building and/or you deny access. The hotel is also entitled to recover any damage from non-compliance with these Covid-19 (Corona) rules.
